Video Captioning

Simplify and streamline your office’s process for adding closed captioning to course videos with AIM’s Video Captioning Module.

Access videos in need of captioning, assign them to specific staff to work on, and return completed video links to students and instructors.

Students will use AIM's Video Captioning Module to:

• Review classes for which a video captioning accommodation was requested.
• Access video links whose captioning is complete.
• Download video transcripts.

Staff will use AIM's Video Captioning Module to:

• Receive requests for videos to be captioned from instructors.
• Identify which videos need production or are already in the captioned video library.
• Assign videos to designated staff for processing.
• Return completed captioned video links for viewing by students and instructors.

Instructors will use AIM's Video Captioning Module to:

• View classes where a video captioning accommodation has been requested.
• Enter video links and the details for videos to be captioned.
• Indicate when each video will be shown and if all or only part of the video is needed.
• Access captioned videos when complete.

Use AIM's Video Captioning Module reporting capabilities to:

• View the number of videos that have been captioned in a given term or date range.
• View captioning requests that are still in progress.
• View captioning costs during a given term or date range.
• View statuses and delivery methods at a glance.
