Flex Plans

Collaboratively develop, track, and implement flexibility-related accommodations such as flexibility on deadlines, attendance, exam dates, and more!

AIM's Flex Plan Module supports the Interactive Process and allows plans to be initiated by the student, instructor, or your office, to best fit your school’s process. Plans can be customized for each student or applied uniformly for all students in a class with flexibility accommodations.

Students will use AIM's Flex Plan Module to:

• Submit requests for their approved flexibility accommodations.
• Propose, review, and/or request revisions to flexibility plans in their classes.
• Receive automated reminders (if set by your office) to propose and review Flex Plans.
• Notify instructors when they plan to use an approved Flex Plan for a given assignment or class date.

Staff will use AIM's Flex Plan Module to:

• Propose and/or review Flex Plans for individual students or whole classes.
• Assign Flex Plans to be reviewed and managed by specific case managers.
• Communicate with students or instructors to ensure high quality plans are developed using the Interactive Process.
• Track implementation of Flex Plans.

Instructors will use AIM's Flex Plan Module to:

• Initiate or review Flex Plans, either for individual students or for their whole class.
• Upload class syllabi if needed to support their proposed plans.
• Participate in the Interactive Process by communicating with students and your office to collaboratively create and implement high quality plans.
• Receive automated emails to initiate and review plans and implementation requests.
