Communicate Student Accommodation Requests Effectively and Efficiently with AIM's Accommodations Module!

Use the power of AIM's Accommodations Module to empower and provide students with the autonomy to request individual accommodations for individual classes. From a manual process to a fully automated process, Disability Services offices can configure this module to best fit their needs.

Students will use AIM's Accommodations Module to:

• Request accommodations for their classes generating Faculty Notification Letters.
• Monitor and track the process of a submitted accommodation request from initial request to their accommodation letter being sent and/or acknowledged by instructor in their Instructor Portal.
• Modify existing accommodation requests should they have a change in access needs.
• Download a copy of their eligibility letter including approved accommodations and sent Faculty Notification Letters.

Staff will use AIM's Accommodations Module to:

• Control and customize what information is included in the Faculty Notification Letter based on requested accommodations or additional notifications.
• Review, approve, and track individual student accommodation requests on an as needed basis contingent upon configuration and automation level.
• Communicate with students who have, or have not, requested certain accommodations to provide important information and reminders.
• Send out automated To Do List to students based on their approved accommodations and tasks they have not yet completed in the system.

Use AIM's Accommodations Module reporting capabilities to:

• Generate a list of accommodation requests based on various criteria.
• Run accommodation report summaries by accommodation requests or student classes.
• Accurately capture the number of students, instructors, and classes that are interacted with by the Disability Services office.
