Accommodated Exam Management Made Easy with AIM's Alternative Testing Module!

From students scheduling to take exams with accommodations to instructors uploading exam files in one convenient and secure place, AIM's Alternative Testing Module can cover it all. Configure various aspects such as informational templates supporting exam proctoring, automatic room assignment, proctors, and handling communication with students, instructors, and staff.

Students will use AIM's Alternative Testing Module to:

• Easily review terms and conditions while scheduling exams.
• Select which testing accommodations they plan to use and communicate any required technology needed.
• Automatically calculate exam duration and end time based on approved accommodation and scheduled start time.
• Review and track the status of their exam request and view exam location.

Staff will use AIM's Alternative Testing Module to:

• Create and customize course instruction templates to receive information supporting affective proctoring of accommodated exams.
• Review and configure of the automation level from manually approving all exam requests to fully automating exam approval and room assignment.
• Provide parameters for when students can schedule an exam based on exam end time and if the required minimum number of days in advance rule is met.
• Send manual and automatic reminders to students, instructors, and proctors of upcoming exam requests.

Instructors will use AIM's Alternative Testing Module to:

• Create exam dates in AIM that students will schedule from.
• Review and track exam requests as they are scheduled and/or approved.
• Optional ability for instructors to approve exam requests if scheduled outside of automatic approval window.
• Upload exam files to Disability Services in bulk for multiple students and download completed exam files from one convenient place.

Use AIM's Alternative Testing Module reporting capabilities to:

• Generate a list of alternative testing accommodation requests and individual exam requests based on various criteria.
• Run alternative testing report summaries by individual testing accommodations, term or date range.
• Review reports which include total exam requests, number of classes and instructors engaged, exam types scheduled, and much more.
