Enhance Your Communication Access Coordination with AIM’s Communication Access Module!

The Communication Access Module is designed to streamline scheduling and providing services such as ASL Interpreting and Real-Time captioning. It offers a comprehensive solution for maintaining registration data, customizing the module to office practices, and facilitating seamless communication and scheduling.

Bonus options include the ability to connect AIM’s platform with certain companies for real-time captioning.

Student Experience

Students will use AIM's Communication Access Module to:
  • Submit requests for classes and events.
  • Verify which providers are assigned to their classes or events.
  • View the status of their submitted requests.
  • View transcripts and interpreted videos.

Staff Experience

Staff will use AIM's Communication Access Module to:
  • View their assigned schedules and communicate availability.
  • Accept assignments, request substitutes, and upload class files and transcripts.
  • Stay informed with notes from coordinators.

Reporting

Use AIM's Video Captioning Module reporting capabilities to:
  • Generate reports based on semester, communication access accommodations, and other criteria.
  • Use custom search queries to specify detailed criteria for reports.
  • Filtered data can be exported to MS Excel for further analysis.
